ISIJ 48: Interorganizational and International Cooperation and Coordination in Providing Security

Twelve peer reviewed contributions in his volume present advances, critical analyses and draw lessons from interorganizational and international cooperation and coordination in the provision of security at national level and internationally. The volume contains four sections, dedicated to information sharing and communication, fighting terrorism and countering violent extremism, peacekeeping and peacebuilding, disaster and crisis management. The editorial article highlights the main challenges of cooperation and the lessons they have learned from their personal experience in cooperative projects and initiatives aiming to enhance the coordination among security actors.
