Based on official documents, the author presents the roles and the tasks of the Bulgarian Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism. In the focus of his examination is the employment of Special Operations Forces in the fight against terrorist units on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the support, provided by all national organizations with counterterrorist missions to tactical groups.</p>
