The paper outlines the challenges and the main cyber threats (such as cybercrime, cyber terrorism, cyber war, vulnerability of the state’s information infrastructure, unsatisfactory level of information security) in the Ukrainian cyberspace. Further, a classification of the negative impact of cyberattacks on critical information infrastructure is offered. The authors present Ukraine’s cybersecurity strategy and policy, and describe the country’s cybersecurity system, legal and regula¬tory aspects, and related specifics of Ukraine’s educational system.
