Information & Security: An International Journal (ISIJ) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published since 1998 in English, in thematic volumes, usually 2-3 volumes with 3-5 issues per year.

Each volume of ISIJ covers a specific topic and is edited by a member of the Editorial Board or by a Guest Editor.

Starting with vol. 45, the articles in ISIJ are published under Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0 (Atribution-NonCommercial International) licence.

ISIJ abstracts and full-text articles are freely available on the public internet, permitting any user to read, download, search, or link to the full texts of I&S articles at their original location on the I&S website, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

For subscriptions or acquisition of individual hard copies please send a request to the Managing Editor.

ISIJ content is disseminated by aggregators such as ProQuest and EBSCO. The journal is indexed in numerous directories and databases. The ISIJ publisher Procon is member of The Publishers International Linking Association, Inc. (PILA) and will assign unique DOI numbers to all forthcoming articles and cross link them in the CrossRef database, containing meta information on over 120 million scientific publications.
