The issue resulting from this Call was published as vol. 42 of ISIJ.

Call announced
Submission Deadline

In 2017, volume 38 of Information and Security: An International Journal presented contributions on effectiveness, efficiency and cyber resilience (E2CR) of IT organizations. The I&S Editorial Board decided to continue the effort with this Call, and invites authors to submit papers on topics such as:

  • Strategy development for IT organizations
  • Interaction with customers, in particular presenting experience in establishing a Chief Customer Officer in an IT organization
  • Managing innovation in IT organizations.

We encourage practitioners, IT leaders and academics to share their experience in these three and other fields related to the enhancement of the effectiveness, efficiency and cyber resilience of IT organizations.

In the formulation of these topics we see IT organizations as strategic assets for every administration, military/security or business structure. IT leaders need to contribute to the development and the implementation of organizational strategy. Also, customers need to be in the focus of IT operations, and developing solid partnerships is the goal of the Chief Customer Officer in IT organization. And finally, the IT community is expected to drive innovation by introducing new technologies, business processes and supporting organizational strategy.

Early submissions are welcome. After peer review and acceptance, each paper is assigned a DOI and published online as open access under Creative Commons license BY-NC-SA 4.0.

Interested authors may submit their papers after registering in our Submissions Management system. In preparing your paper, please use the template available below and follow the instructions provided in it.
