In the beginning of October 2019, Sofia hosted the first international scientific conference “Digital Transformation, Cyber Security and Resilience” (DIGILIENCE 2019). Given the proliferation of events and the competition for talent, the risk taken by the organisers is now considered justified. Further, with the events in the past year, including a number of successful cyberattacks in Bulgaria and many more globally, there is a growing interest in the topic in policy-making circles, businesses, and the public administration, as well as by fellow research­ers working in related fields.
